Erving Massachusetts is an industrial town located in Franklin County.  It is part of the 01344 zip code and includes Erving Center and Millers Falls.  It is situated between Boston and Greenfield.  Erving is connected to the town of Gill through the French King Bridge.

Erving presents many outdoor recreational opportunities including cross-country skiing, hiking and rock climbing.  The town is home of Laurel Lake and Erving State Forest, which include a beach, picnic areas and boat houses.  Fishing and white water kayaking opportunities can be found at Laurel Lake.  

According to the 2000 U.S. Census Bureau, Erving was home to 1,467 residents.  This included 600 households and 400 families.
