Conway is the largest town (by population) in Carroll County, New Hampshire. As of the 2000 census, the population was 8,604. Parts of the White Mountain National Forest run through the town. Since the town provides access to the White Mountains, tourism plays a major role in Conway's economy. Shopping outlets, Cranmore Mountain Ski Resort, hotels, inns and more are locally offered.
