The town of Surry is located in Cheshire County, New Hampshire.  This scenic countryside village is comprised of 15.6 square miles of land and .3 square miles of water.  Surry reaches 1,555 feet above sea level at its highest point, at Drexel Hill on the western border of the town.

Surry offers many outdoor recreational opportunities such as fishing and camping.  It is home to many parks and lakes, including the Surry Mountain campground.

According to the 2000 U.S. Census Bureau, Surry’s population at that time included 673 people, 206 families and 268 households.  The average family size was 2.84 and the average household size was 2.51.
